La Delegazione di Valdichiana-Valdorcia Sud ha istituto anche quest'anno il Premio "Franco Marenghi" destinato agli allievi di cucina dell'Istituto alberghiero P. Artusi di  Chianciano. Il tema assegnato questo anno è “tipologie,varietà, storia e utilizzo di riso proveniente dall’Italia e da altre terre del mondo”.  La cerimonia di consegna del premio si svolgerà il giorno 15 settembre 2019 a Spineto (Sarteano) e in questa occasione lo studente premiato avrà il compito di preparare il piatto vincitore che sarà servito agli Accademici durante il pranzo che seguirà la premiazione.
